the moon has a gravity like the earth . but not as strong . when the moon passes over the sea which reduces some of the land gravety causing the ocean to increase in certain areas . and lower in others . just not stong enough to raise it off the ground yet .

Tides are the rise and fall of ocean levels compared with land masses . Tides are caused by the gravitational pull of the moon and sun. Imagine the sun to right side of this square . Imagine the moon is in d . People of D and B will experience high tide, while people in and will air at low tide. . one d LAND b Sun . c Now 6 hours later when the moon is in C , A and C have high tides and D and B are have low tides. After approximately 6 hours later in b , high tides and again at db
and low tides A and C. Whe the moon is in A or B , the gravitational pull of the sun and the moon each job together . When the moon is in A or C , the moon and sun are at right angles to each other and the power is in vector, and c changing tides for .

It is mainly due to the gravitational pull of the moon . In point of law

The tides are caused by the gravitational pull of the moon. When the moon, Earth and Sun are in line, we have flood tides. When the moon, Earth and Sun are at right angles, we have neap tides. The phases of the moon are caused by our vantage point as the moon orbits the earth. The moon's rising is caused by the Earth's rotation on its axis.

Tide is the rise and fall of water caused by gravitational forces of the moon and sun on the oceans of the earth. The phase of the moon changes the moon rising timing. The full moon appears once every 29.53 days.
