When the disciples asked about the end of time , Jesus promised that the end of the world would come in their lifetime . ( Only the 50,000 other contradictions in the Bible ) . And if you read the book instead of relying on the garbage being fed to you through dogma of the church , you know this, Mark 8:39 to 9:01 : Jesus is recorded saying :

I live in California. 3.8 isn't an earthquake. That's not even a foot massage. I don't even wake up for anything under a high 5 and then not always for that either. (Though a 6 - definitely, as it sets off the bike alarm)

Every generation feels as you do though. I think the entire human race has this paranoid streak that is probably an evolutionary holdout and was necessary to our survival at one time, but now just makes us all eligible for the funny farm from time to time. Since fear of death is a natural thing to a certain extent it's only natural that we'd also be fascinated by the concept of the "end of the world". People have been waiting for the end of the world since the beginning of time and they've all been convinced it's right around the corner. This is really all nothing new and this is all stuff that has happened before. No big deal. I can loan you one of tinfoil hats and the feeling will pass. Bonus: aliens will no longer be able to control your thoughts. Huzzah!

Things happening like that shows the end is nearer. Read the entire Matthew 24:3 to the final verse. "You will hear of wars and reports of wars". The last days began in 1914. That is when Satan was cast out of heaven and everything went disastrously.

What Jesus said is happening now. Satan is ruling this world. Things said in the Bible is being FULFILLED. SATAN IS RUNNING OUT OF TIME.

You realize that there are Earthquakes literally EVERY DAY? Some are just too low magnitude to be felt.

There are no more or less of any of those things than there ever have been throughout history.

The reason you HEAR more about them, is because we have better means of communication than we ever did before.

2000 years ago, the people that wrote the Bible didn't even know that someplace like China even existed, they certainly wouldn't have known if there was an earthquake there.
100 years ago, people in the western countries wouldn't have cared even if they DID hear about an earthquake from somewhere else in the world, because it hardly affected them. It wasn't something newsworthy to them.
50 years ago, you might have heard about it in a newspaper or on a television news report if it was a hugely significant earthquake.
Now we have television, live video-speak like Skype, texting, internet, 24 hour running news programs, etc. We hear about these things the instant they happen, and it's every bit as real to us as if we're there ourselves.

It's the advance in COMMUNICATIONS that makes these things seem to be increasing in number.

God isn't showing anything. He's a little confused at the present time. Humans are giving him conflicting stories lately.

My friend, please remember that these signs are for us a reminder that He is coming back. Not for man to make predictions. About Adam and Eve, do you really think you or I would have done any better, we are all responsible for our own sin. You make some interesting comments, good job. If you have not been, remember to proclaim the gospel to yourself and others daily. Here it is:

Repentance toward the Father, and faith in Christ Jesus.

He died for our sins, according to the scriptures.
He was buried.
He rose again on the third day, according to the scriptures.

The gospel. Full and complete. Front and center.
