Unknown to most Christians , almost all of the doctrine of the church is relatively new . This is especially true in the United States . There is much folklore rooted in the people, who believe whouldn't original Christian concepts if you pointed right to it in the Bible.

He may have wrote "about" the end times, but this is merely his opinion. The key word here is THEOLOGY. Whether or not it's accepted or rejected does not change this fact. The true scriptures are meant to be vague and confusing so each person is forced to think about and process their own opinion regarding the end of days, rather than spelling it out in black and white. We are being tested on this planet. Do you actually think the Teacher is going to explain the final exam in detail, so all we have to do is memorize the answers and not learn a thing? No. We have to learn the lessons, study His word, and be ready for the Pop Quiz at any time.

Actually the end of this system of things comes from the Bible and was inspired by God, so that we would have fore-warning...for just like in the days of Noah, when the flood came and no one was paying attention to the warnings, so we find the same situation today. The warning is being sounded, but who is really listening? However, the rapture is very mistakenly taught, and many who believe that teaching will be very surprised to find that it is a false the Scripures yourselves, so that you will know what is true...

1 John 4:1: "Beloved ones, do not believe every inspired expression, but test the inspired expressions to see whether they originate with God, because many false prophets have gone forth into the world."

John 17:3: "This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ."

2 Corinthians 4: 1-6: "That is why, since we have this ministry according to the mercy that was shown us, we do not give up; 2 but we have renounced the underhanded things of which to be ashamed, not walking with cunning, neither adulterating the word of God, but by making the truth manifest recommending ourselves to every human conscience in the sight of God. 3 If, now, the good news we declare is in fact veiled, it is veiled among those who are perishing, 4 among whom the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, that the illumination of the glorious good news about the Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine through. 5 For we are preaching, not ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as YOUR slaves for Jesus’ sake. 6 For God is he who said: “Let the light shine out of darkness,” and he has shone on our hearts to illuminate [them] with the glorious knowledge of God by the face of Christ."
