Education is a progressive discovery of your own ignorance . You think you're smart .

This is, of course, better and deeper question of all. Certainly can not be answered simply - or even

That's not the problem , all the suffering and death in this world is the result of sin . God does not like to see their children suffer, what kind of God would that be? But God only wants the best for us . Who knows, God takes away sin, then all the suffering will end ( yes, even natural disasters ) But if God takes away the sin now , all that has been taken from their sins will be destroyed .

God created the world to be perfect , but humans messed it up and sin . It is not God's fault .

All are results of sin . When God created the world .... We , humans , have options , and we decided to sin and live against God's way for us . So all of this is the result of our own sinfulness and disobedience . But God does not just leave us there, he loved us and took pity on us and gave His Son Jesus to die for our sins . Therefore, to believe in Him , God has promised us life without disasters , illness and pain . He has also promised that all sickness , sorrow and disasters will end at the end of time when He returns . I hope this clears some things up ... I'll be praying for you .

Everyone thinks he is so loving, but he is not. He is sexist, he wants people to own slaves, and there are many different groups of people that he wants to be murdered just because they have a lifestyle that makes them happy. Even if he did exist, I would not want to follow a god like that. >.<

that is why i don't follow any religion

Yes your exactly right.
I remember reading Christianity quotes from this one girl's Facebook, it went something like... "How do you think God feels when you ignore the sunset? Or the beautiful flowers? Or the stars in the night sky? Or the peacefulness of the ocean? These are things God provides for us everyday, yet we ignore them."

I sooo badly wanted to say "Oh yea? Well if he can do that then why can't he provide for the starving kids in Africa?"
But I didn't because I didn't want to start anything.

those are not the results of God. they are the repercussions of sin. and the worst thing ever would be for us to exist in an environment where there are no visible consequences for wrong-doing... to say this life is better than the next life, or that this world is better than heaven, or to say i don't need the Lord, i have paradise. read Genesis 3, God placed a curse over our dominion. these horrible things happen as a testimony, saying something is wrong with this world. something is wrong with people. God is amazing, and the evidence isn't by all the visible things that are good, but by the horrible things that were done for our good, like Jesus Christ being mutilated on a cross. we saw it as a tragedy, satan saw it as a triumph, but God saw it as a trade. His righteousness for my sinfulness = a fatal blow for the will of the wicked one.

I am not apart of any religion but I do believe there is a God. I agree it is hard at times to think he is there when terrible things happen but I still have hope. I really believe everything happens for a reason and when awful things and great sufferings occur that there is a reason for it just one that I don't understand. Sometimes it takes a great tragedy to bring light. When you witness a miracle you will see there is a God. We have lessons to learn and sometimes they are not easy.

That's because your perspective is not right. This is the way things are:

We are spiritual beings having a human experience. Earth is a school for souls. Souls need to come to earth in the physical state to learn the value of love, compassion, kindness and justice. In spiritual form you cannot feel pain – there is only happiness and a sense of well being.

But you don’t truly value light unless you have seen darkness – you need to see the contrast. So souls have to come to earth in the physical state to experience death, pain, fear, loss, hatred, cruelty, etc and thus learn the value and wisdom of love.

We have free will to do good or bad - but we also have to pay for our misdeeds - no one gets away with it. Since earth is a school, god cannot interfere and give us the answers to our exams.

We are NOT permitted to remember our spirit state because then we won’t be able to take earth seriously. It will be like playing a video game – you don’t really care if your game character dies. We won’t be able to experience the actual fear of death and pain of loss.

Mankind has repeatedly snubbed God and refused to accept His authority over the world and over themselves. We have made our decision clear concerning Him, so He allows us to attempt to control ourselves and the earth. While He is an all-powerful God, He will not "inflict" His will upon us.
We have starving children and financial crises because of human greed. We have natural disasters because only He can control the weather.

Are you ready to believe yet?
If not, then we are in for more of what we have already.
That's why we evangelize non-believers.

Matthew 24

The Destruction of the Temple and Signs of the End Times

1 Jesus left the temple and was walking away when his disciples came up to him to call his attention to its buildings. 2 “Do you see all these things?” he asked. “Truly I tell you, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.”

3 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”

4 Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. 6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains.

In the Garden of Eden, when Adam and Eve disobeyed God, what they were doing is saying they are better off choosing their own path rather than following the path God laid out for them...they were better off leading themselves than having God lead them.

Now God could have destroyed them right then (along with Satan), but 1) that is out of line with God's purpose, since God wanted humans to fill the earth, and 2) others were watching, namely, angels. If they saw God destroy those three, they might have wondered if God was trying to hide something, like maybe that they were better off leading their own lives rather than God leading them. Before long, God could have a full-blown revolution on His hands requiring the destruction of everything He had created. Instead, God has allowed humans, under Satan's guidance, to lead themselves; and so now we can all see whether we are better off under God or under human leadership.

As you have noted, human leadership under Satan's guidance has been fairly dismal. Humans have been unable to stop natural disasters, diseases, starvation, they can't even stop fighting amongst themselves. Humans have not been able to solve one single problem without creating new ones in the process.

"If this is the case," you are probably asking, "then why does God not end it now that He has proven that humans cannot lead?" Good question.

2nd Peter 3:9--Jehovah is not slow respecting his promise, as some people consider slowness, but he is patient with YOU because he does not desire any to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance.

(Jehovah is God's name according to Psalms 83:18 of the Old King James Version of the Bible).

But essentially, God waits because He waits for you. God has shown what life is like under His leadership with the Garden of Eden. He has also shown what it was like when the Israelites paid attention to Him. If you read the Bible, you will notice that God always protected the Israelites and they did very well when they paid attention to the God's Law; but when they abandoned God, God did not abandon them immediately. He would send prophets, sometimes providing warnings for years on end, to get them back. When they still would not come back, He would withdraw His protection (as they requested), and they had their tails handed to them. When they came back to Him, He would restore the protection and they would do awesome again.

God has also provided promises for the future if you choose His leadership.

Isaiah 33:24--And no resident will say: “I am sick.”

Psalms 37:10,11--And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more; and you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be. 11) But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, and they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.

Isaiah 11:6-9--And the wolf will actually reside for a while with the male lamb, and with the kid the leopard itself will lie down, and the calf and the maned young lion and the well-fed animal all together; and a mere little boy will be leader over them. 7) And the cow and the bear themselves will feed; together their young ones will lie down. And even the lion will eat straw just like the bull. 8) And the sucking child will certainly play upon the hole of the cobra; and upon the light aperture of a poisonous snake will a weaned child actually put his own hand. 9) They will not do any harm or cause any ruin in all my holy mountain; because the earth will certainly be filled with the knowledge of Jehovah as the waters are covering the very sea.

Isaiah 2:4--And he will certainly render judgment among the nations and set matters straight respecting many peoples. And they will have to beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning shears. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, neither will they learn war anymore.

1st Corinthians 15:26--As the last enemy, death is to be brought to nothing.

Revelation 21:4--"And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

So, you have a choice. Continue under the system of human leadership that you yourself have noted is a failure that cannot prevent suffering; or choose to submit to God's leadership, and gain all these blessings.

"With God, ALL things are possible"
So, it's POSSIBLE that God is not all that bright.
Rumor has it that God wanted the bad people to die. So, rather than Speak them OUT of existence, with the omnipotent ease with which He spoke the stars INTO existence, He very carefully drowned thousands, perhaps millions, of them. And, being a rather poor planner, He also drowned hundreds or thousands of babies, all of whom were too young to have offended Him in any way. And He couldn't think of a way to NOT drown little puppies, cuddly pandas, and so forth.
And then, with absolutely NO thought of making Himself look wise and loving, He inspired people to write down, for all ages, that He wasn't strong enough to simply push the Pharaoh into letting the Jews leave. No, he killed a whole bunch of kids, none of whom could vote the Pharaoh off the throne.
