No raving like a schizophrenic , etc , I would talk mathematically and scientifically to realize an increase in the number of events as one . Earthquakes , 2 . Tsunami due to the earthquake , 3 . Floods and famines , 4 . Volcanic events .
Not predicting a solar flare event in 2012 or so.
The recent tsunami caused the shape of the land for so that its equatorial diameter decreased slightly after 9 Richter scale earthquake near Indonesia , and as a result, today, the days have shortened in a few seconds due to the resulting increase of the rate of rotation of the earth.
Jesus clearly says that

Yes , many disasters have increased. I live in California and fires have increased terribly here . Every year we have fires . I would think that half of the forest area burned would surelyl now in Southern California. Last summer we also had huge flare out of control in the Redwoods near Monterrey and in the north, in forested areas . The major earthquakes have been predicted for a long time here . But I also heard the prophecy saying that the great earthquake will not come , but instead would have a major revival . I hope so . I'm on top of a steep hill , so I hope you will stay put .

What few recognize or refuse to believe it is the Lord's coming is getting closer and closer every day. Unbelievers scoff and mock those of us who truly love the Lord and seek to serve. However, there are many cases of earthquakes, etc, many have become so accustomed to these disasters that refuse to recognize the signs of the times. The Word of God tells us that we must be aware of these symptoms and be prepared for his coming. The importance of the ten virgins is the best example of preparation.
The parable of the ten virgins
The five foolish virgins
At that time the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish and five were wise.
The foolish ones took their lamps, and took no oil with them. The wise, however, took oil in their vessels with their lamps. The bridegroom was a long time coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep.
At midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom Come out to meet him! '
Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. The foolish said to the wise, 'Give us some of your oil. Our lamps are going out'
"No," I answered, because that is not enough for us and you. Instead, go to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.
But while they were on their way to buy the oil when the bridegroom arrived. And they that were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was locked. "Afterward came also the other." Lord! Sir! "They said. Opens the door! '" But he answered, "I tell you the truth, I do not know you." Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour.
Five wise virgins
There are many lessons to be learned from this parable, but for me, the most important lesson I learned from him is to prepare! I think this applies to all areas of life - including our finances. With things that are as uncertain as they are in the U.S., I think now is a good time as any to prepare for what is coming.
In my own life, I have noticed that since gas prices have fallen back below $ 2 (after being at $ 4) I feel like I have more money to spend. If gas prices have fallen and have released some additional money that has been occupied for some months, but really should be spent? Would not it be wiser to save some of it in preparation for $ 5 gas? Honestly I have no idea what will happen with gas prices, but I think this parable makes clear that the wise thing to do is be prepared. What should you prepare for?
I've noticed that most people totally inadequate to prepare for situations or prepare. The key is balance. The preparation should not be something that is driven by fear, but by wisdom. The Bible says that God has not given us a spirit of fear (2 Timothy 1:7) Therefore, our decisions should not be based on fear. Therefore, if you are preparing for situations, first make sure that you are trusting in God and do not because they are afraid.
Most importantly, always be prepared for his return and then join him in the marriage supper of the Lamb. Christians are the Bride of Christ!

yes. even in areas where they had never endure such devastation as that which comes by an Earthquake have had some. the sad reality is that everyday that passes is one day closer to the end even if the foolish ones believe not....if the unbeliever were to focus on all the incidents, they would surely see the end coming but how will they believe if they are blind to the truth?
