Earth Questions

QDo you see the frequenst and serious natural calamities of sorts as mere random events or..?

I mean eruptions on land ice that caused severe disruption to air travel in Europe , the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico fatal , sending serious messages for offshore drilling , earthquakes and floods of anger rising in frequency and severity .. Are they just random events that appear to frequent with just coincidental? Or do you see them -

as the impact of ecological disturbances created by humans ? Or

As bad impact of vibrations generated by humanity , through greed and hostilities of all kinds ?

Do people seeking the 2012 hype in this latter perspective .. ? Pl share your thoughts .

Thanks for your time and ideas .

It is likely that religious people watch episodes of anger and the nature of the violation of human ethical life . As Veers say , evil acts - voracious exploitation of nature , affecting biodiversity , disruption of the ecological balance , etc. are working against , through natural disasters such as famine and drought , floods and storms etc ( but the association of earthquakes and oilspills not possible so )! I often used to quote (which is also followed in some cases ) the words of late Param Hamsa Yogananda , saying " every flower road is a symbol of someone ready smile and every mosquito bite , biting the word someone .. '! So ills can be spread around due to hatred and hostility in the minds of people , causing both negative vibrations and disturbing the peace on the planet . I would like to emphasize the " belief" in the faith that at least those feelings can restrict people involved in destructive activities in hatred and hostility !

God is love . Her love your baby just doing nothing ! There was a time when the Earth was humans , water or oxygen ! The meaning of life is to give life meaning . All these things mentioned can occur regardless of our behavior . We have the option to be commonly decent for himself and for us as individuals to improve our individual and collective life .

I are the effects of : The man turns away from God away from nature away from the man . The first quarter of 2010 saw three major earthquakes :
1.The Haiti earthquake: 7.0 magnitude 2.The China earthquake : 8.6 magnitude 3.The Chile Earthquake : 8.8 magnitude Just watch the time that countries are trying to get out of the economic crisis . Just realized what happened to everyone when a volcano erupted. Just know what is happening with the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico ? The earthquack in Haiti or floods in Central America . A lot of strange things happened in 2010 . People have forgotten God who created and sustains the universe . If people become spiritual and return to the truth and honesty of the world will be a better place . Therefore , I see these things as just a natural calamity , but warning to all humanity of God , repent and love .

Natural disasters have their causes in the normal activities of the earth. In recent generations, however, increased knowledge and man's technology has served to trigger some natural disasters. Flooding and erosion can occur in areas where mining, deforestation, and manufacturing have taken place. Global warming, which eventually could affect ocean currents, has its roots in the modern man's overuse of fossil fuels. Earthquakes can be caused by drilling, bombing, mining and construction.
Natural disasters have a number of causes, but today with global warming, natural disasters are caused fundamental changes in the environment caused by the increasing differences of heat and cold. As an industry injects greenhouse gases and particles in the atmosphere, there is an effect of double-edged sword of increased temperature combined with global dimming. Greenhouse gases and global temperatures rise this is masked by particles that contribute to global dimming. Locally, the causes of global regulation and temperature drops in areas where there is the most important factor, increasing temperatures. As the atmosphere seeks a balance between the extremes, severe weather events that contribute to natural disasters becoming more frequent. The results are more floods, drying resulting fire storms, strong winds, unseasonably cold, ice-breaking and crises pack, super hurricanes and sea level rise are an important part of natural disasters today . This is not the complete picture of the roots of natural disasters. Earthquake connections at sea level as caused by human activity are controversial. However, there is some evidence that human activity elsewhere is linked to low-level earthquakes. Other natural disasters such as tsunamis regulating solar, volcanoes and impacts from space are not made by man at this time in history and they will not be considered here.
It is no surprise to many people today there records being broken everywhere in regard to climate anomalies and one of them is flooding. Global warming is seen as a contributor to increasing amounts of moisture in the air and water on the surface of the oceans evaporates more easily. As this is over land, condenses in regions that are naturally susceptible to rain and the mountains nearby. These areas see a lot of flooding. Also, whenever moisture results in more snow and spring means more melt runoff and therefore more flooding. In the early stages of fading winter of 2009, a large accumulation of snow meant a high risk of flooding along the basin of the Red River flood. In fact, the water levels were higher than anything recorded in the last 112 years. Midwestern states and Manitoba were mainly affected. So it was in Asia Minor, which experienced massive flooding unlike anything seen in recent history. These have been tentatively linked to global warming caused by human injection of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere from industrial processes and engines of all kinds.
Australia experienced the opposite condition. After several years of drought and rising temperatures, conditions were right for a huge firestorm, which is exactly what happened in the summer of 2009. The flames were so hot that the metal and glass melted and ran like molasses in the intense heat. 1200 Celsius temperatures were typical along with fire fronts slightly higher even that. Were fed a prolonged period prior to drying fire storms. This is seen as part of the effects of global warming, so we are changing the climate zones worldwide. Australia in the main is becoming much drier.
Hurricane force winds struck the Pacific Northwest in December 2006 leaving a trail of destruction of primary forests. Millions of trees were toppled and people are still digging out from the series of three large wind storms in a period of a week and half. A tour of Stanley Park in Vancouver find whole sections that resemble Dresden Germany after carpet bombing in the Second World War. The virgin forest reserve is a tangle of fallen giants and large sectors that are more like clear cuts. It is estimated that these storms alone, it will take hundreds of years to recover. As the temperature gradient between the increase in minimum and maximum temperatures, so does the air flow, leading to hurricanes like Katrina and the devastating winds of Christmas time 2006 in the Pacific Northwest. These extremes in temperature of the atmosphere are related to heat buildup due to the accumulation of greenhouse gases. They are the engine of weather extremes such as strong winds. Tornadoes form in unusual places and seasons are another indicator of this.
By injecting more and more particles into the atmosphere, a phenomenon known as global dimming is taking place. Global dimming is masking the true extent of global warming and causing regional cooling where regulation is the greatest. Th

Sir, though your question is under News &Events, your question immediately brought to my mind this shloka from Bhagwad Gita on ‘prakrarte’

sadṛśaḿ ceṣṭate svasyāḥ
prakṛter jñānavān api
prakṛtiḿ yānti bhūtāni
nigrahaḥ kiḿ kariṣyati (3.33)

We humans, the plants, the animals, the earth all behave as per individual nature ‘prakrarte’. Volcanoes, Earthquake, etc is natural to the earth similarly as loosing temper is to a wisest among men. We all behave in conformity of our nature.

Yes, but oil spills, wars are all man made calamities and agree with you these are impact of men’s never ending greed and ego.

Sir, you asked whether it is due to

as impact of ecological disturbances created by humans? Or

As impact of evil vibrations generated by humanity, through greed and hostilities of sorts?

I think both are almost same!

Greed &Hostilities lead to human creating ecological disturbances!

Lord Krishna said clearly that He takes care of well being of every one. Yes He can take care only by providing sufficient resources for well living of all jeevathmas of this planet and it is true.

Yogakshemam Vahamyaham:
Meaning: I myself carry their necessities and take care of their well being.
Source: Bhagavat Gita 9.22 (Krishna to Arjuna)
Verse
ananyas chintayanto mam ye janaha paryupasathe

But The GDP (Gross Domestic Product) of the 41 Heavily Indebted Poor Countries (567 million people) is less than the wealth of the world’s 7 richest people combined. This means to say that the legitimate share of several million people is grasped by few purely due to greediness to amass wealth for no reason as it cannot be carried along at the time of exit.

• Almost half the world — over 3 billion people — live on less than $2.50 a day.

* The GDP (Gross Domestic Product) of the 41 Heavily Indebted Poor Countries (567 million people) is less than the wealth of the world’s 7 richest people combined.

* Nearly a billion people entered the 21st century unable to read a book or sign their names.

* Less than one per cent of what the world spent every year on weapons was needed to put every child into school by the year 2000 and yet it didn’t happen.

* 1 billion children live in poverty (1 in 2 children in the world). 640 million live without adequate shelter, 400 million have no access to safe water, 270 million have no access to health services. 10.6 million died in 2003 before they reached the age of 5 (or roughly 29,000 children per day).

Hostility only makes the countries to spend more on weapons.

From the above link you will find that “Less than one per cent of what the world spent every year on weapons was needed to put every child into school by the year 2000 and yet it didn’t happen.”

When we drain out billions of barrels of crude every day from the deep of our mother earth, there an imbalance created deep region and that leads to earth quake at times for mother earth to breathe.

It is stated in a survey that Chennai had 12 lakhs cars. Most of the cars found plying on road with single person traveling. Due to the traffic congestion, the time of travel is almost 4 folds. This makes heavy emission of carbon monoxide which affects the Ozone layer. If most people are using the Public Transport, the emission of carbon monoxide will be reduced considerably. Also the requirement of daily fuel will be dramatically reduced there by less pumping of crude.

I can give innumerable points like this that the ecological imbalance is only due to the Greed &Hostility of huma

YES impact of evil vibrations generated by humanity, through greed and hostilities of sorts.

I think man has disturbed the ecological balance and this has brought some changes in nature. Although there is no proof of this but I'm sure one day scientists will prove this theory.

(I'm not a scientist. I'm just a common man)

Good Q. The bible talks about Divers Earthquakes near the end. I think it's like he is making the earth rumble with his impatients and anger towards sin. Basically God is getting fed up! So you Libs better wake-up! and Homos, and child molesters/murderers, and drunkers, fools that say there is no God. Did I leave anybody out?,lol.

Anyways side with Israel, they are God's chosen, and he said He will curse those that curse Her and Bless those that bless her. So be on the right side people!.

"Simply Random Events" who are we to say what is normal. We,ve always had calamities, Hurricanes come in historical cycles, cycles longer than me and you know about..Earthquakes, earth was created of earthquakes and volcanoes.
