QWhat if question about dogs:What if a natural disaster happened and rescuers wanted you to leave your animals?
Suppose a hurricane, flood , tornado , dust storm disaster, earthquake , fire, or .. natural or what happened , you would leave your pets or if you stay with your pets ?
What would you do in this situation ? Let's assume that there was no evacuation warning or anything. So there was no way out before it happened ... ect
If you have gone through something like this , please tell your story and what you did.
This has not happened , but I 'm just curious to see what you would do if this happened to you .
absolutely not ! I have a pug and a husky , and no way in hell I 'm going nowhere without them ... totally dependent on me for everything , and was mortified forever (heck go ape crazy not come home in 4 hours)
If I were in that situation , I would find a way to get them all out . My dogs are my family . I have not much family near the left, except my husband and my mom . Leaving behind them would weigh heavily on my mind . I guess my husband would huge army duffel bag , and tell rescuers was a valuable fossil bag that contribute to curing Alzheimer 's disease , and the government and the medical community would be very annoying with them , if they did not let me ... lol I would try to BS way my dog in the rescue . If that did not work he would find safety for me and the dogs .
I'd take my pet ... I love you much to just leave ... or I would get in my car and drive because if there is a way I can get out ... deef is a way that my pet could go to ... good luck !
What would I do? Well , I have an emergency preparedness kit for my pets as food in case water , fresh ect all veterinary records in a box by the door to grab quickly and go, colalrs all dogs and leashes are also there. ..
I would not leave my dogs behind , id rather stay there while the GTO rescures my dogs , first before permission id.
I've been through a flood with my animals . But we noticed that we were able to come and go. I gathered all my animals in my car and left. If there was no warning , I would move all my animals to the top level of my house and stay with them. I would not let them . I love you to see left behind. It's like leaving family behind . I just could not.
I would leave my dog or bird. These animals are captive animals we have domesticated and have to rely solely on U.S. for all . They depend on us for food, shelter , health care , love and affection . If left to their fate is inhumane . If it were the other way around , that would give his life for us .
I would never leave my pet ! I know that there is no rain , cure , wind or snow I leave my pet
Why should I be less loyal to my pet would be like leaving family
This is like asking you to let a member of your family behind? Of course not ! In the end, if he ever did leave my dog . I hate myself , and would never forgive me .
Well we are getting a puppy tomorrow if this happend i would grab my 3 children and puppy as my puppy is going to be a little child so how could you leave your child behind? iF you had no warning i would grab everything that moves and breathes and eats hang on if there was rescurers we would know something was to going to happen or did your question meant after the disaster happened?
It brings tears to my eyes to answer this, but I would not sacrafice my life or the lives of my 2 legged kids for our animals. I think every siuation is diff. If i knew a day or so in advance of an approaching hurricane, then I'd leave in plenty of time to get us all safely out. If i heard the tornado sirens, I'm calling to my kids before I go looking for the dog. If there was a fire, same thing. Earthquakes are unpredictable and what happens happens. I would stand by the pile of rubble waiting for news of any of my loved ones, 2 or 4 legged.
But you proposed a scenario where there was no warning... In that case, I would die trying to save my children and never know the fate of my pets.
