Long range usually refers to the future. Obviously , you want the historical data . You do not say how long ago. And there are so many earthquakes in some areas of the world that get data width less than 2.5 would result in thousands and thousands of lines for an area as large as California , which is a small percentage of the earth's surface - including all earthquakes happen because the oceans also show the tsunami disaster . This site http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/m ... < / A> shows 269 earthquakes in the last 7 days 2.5 or later put in an Excel spreadsheet in less than a minute to do Ctrl - A, Ctrl - C on page , paste to Notepad to convert to text , copy only the data lines outside the notepad in Excel and reformatted the column widths . for all data. And I do not even have to do that - . Click Download Earthquake and asks what format you want Data grows longer will have to do for large files , etc.
